Berry Smoothie

This is the smoothie you’ll have seen many time on my Instagram stories. . .my youngest daughter has this every day the minute & loves it. Theres no added sugar either which is a bonus, just fruit for the sweetness! I use a Nutri Bullet which I think is amazing & so easy to use & clean! Click here for the one I use


1 x peeled medium ripe banana

1/2 – 1 cup frozen blueberries (good source of antioxidants)

5-6 frozen strawberries, regular size if smaller add a few more (source of Vitamin C)

1.5 cups Almond milk (Love Plenish as it hardly has any ingredients & think it’s the best on the market – look out for it when it’s on offer or I buy this in bulk which works out cheaper) – you need to play around with this to get it the consistency whoever is having it prefers! Sometimes I add more at the end.

2 x tbsp natural organic yogurt (I love the yeo valley one – this gives some much needed probiotics for our tummies)

1 tsp x ground flaxseeds (give you fiber to help with elimination & omega 3 fatty acids for brain health)

1 tsp almond butter (I use the Aldi one or love the Pip & Nut one as you can buy in bulk so lasts longer & can be more cost effective if buy when on offer too!)


Blitz until smooth!

We either drink it out of the Nutri bullet cup or my daughter prefers hers in a glass with a flower straw!
